Depuis une vingtaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es, il d\u00e9veloppe une pratique hors normes,  travaille de mani\u00e8re s\u00e9rielle et revendique l\u2019emploi \u00ab\u00a0des moyens les  plus objectifs de la photographie\u00a0: la pr\u00e9cision, la frontalit\u00e9 des  prises de vue, la nettet\u00e9, la couleur, l\u2019agrandissement\u00a0\u00bb pour  interroger la force de l\u2019image.  Les photographies de Patrick Tosani ont des th\u00e8mes assez banaux et  abordent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement la notion de \u00ab\u00a0fragment\u00a0\u00bb.
